Brother Introduces Feature Rich Laser Fax for Small Business

IntelliFAX-2820 Laser Fax Offers Features and Value Perfect for Home Office and Small Office Professionals


Brother International Corporation, a leading manufacturer of fax, multifunction and printer products, today introduced the IntelliFAX-2820, which will begin shipping in early April. With an estimated street price of $199, this feature rich model makes high quality, reliable laser fax technology affordable for virtually every home office or small office.

A NEW GENERATION AND DESIGN

Front-loading, 250-sheet paper tray capacity...delivers professional performance at entry-level pricing

The IntelliFAX-2820 replaces Brother's hugely popular laser fax model IntelliFax-2800, and is being introduced with a number of spec advantages. A major enhancement is the front-loading, 250-sheet paper tray capacity. In addition to handling higher volume applications, its self-contained design offers easy access for paper handling and a cleaner method of paper storage than top-loading models. This is an unexpected high-end feature at this price point.

The IntelliFAX-2820 boasts an increased memory capacity of 8MB, which stores up to 500 pages for out-of-paper reception and memory transmission applications(1). Other enhancements include faster copying at up to 15 cpm, expanded broadcasting and auto-dialing capabilities, and a higher toner cartridge yield. The IntelliFax-2820 also includes a built-in full speed USB interface(2), positioning it to take on future printing jobs if a customer needs to add this function.
